Designed for a tropical climate, this large 4 bedroom home has a wide 3.8m verandah to extend outdoor living space and to keep the house cool. The ceiling is raked over the family/dining/kitchen areas, but is 3m high throughout the rest of the home. The house features louvred doors and windows which are adjustable to make the most of cross-ventilation. This house is a retreat from the harsh tropical environment.
